The menu items in the hierarchical menu are used to distribute objects selected with the current selection mode. Note that the selection order is significant here.
Horizontally
Changes the horizontal positions of the selected objects such that the horizontal distance between any two successive objects is the same. The vertical positions are left unchanged. The object you selected first will be the leftmost object, the object you selected second will be the second leftmost etc. If less than two objects are selected, this command is dimmed. If exactly two objects are selected, and the object you selected first is already the leftmost object, then the command does nothing.
Vertically
Changes the vertical positions of the selected objects such that the vertical distance between any two successive objects is the same. The horizontal positions are left unchanged. The object you selected first will be the uppermost object, the object you selected second will be the second uppermost etc. If less than two objects are selected, this command is dimmed. If exactly two objects are selected, and the object you selected first is already the uppermost object, then the command does nothing.
Between 2nd. sel
Distributes the objects selected in 窶廡irst selection窶 mode on a straight line, with equal horizontal and vertical distances, between the two objects selected in 窶彜econd selection窶 mode. If no objects are selected in 窶廡irst selection窶 mode, or less than two objects are selected in 窶彜econd selection窶 mode, the command is dimmed. If more than two nodes are selected in 窶彜econd selection窶 mode, only the position of the first two are used to determine the new positions.
